Neetu Chandra is all set to make her
international debut with an American sitcom. The actress is presently shooting
in Chicago for the show.
Talking about how she landed the role, she says, ‘I
have an agency here to handle my work. Along with a few other auditions that I
did for a couple of shows, I auditioned for this one as well and got through. I
have been shooting here since the first week of December. The show will go on
air from next fall. I will finish the first episode and get back to India by
the end of this month as it is holiday season here.’
The actress, who is excited being a part of this
sitcom, says that she is exploring a different side of her acting prowess. ‘Usually,
actresses don't explore comedy much. I play the lead role in this one which is
of a funny girl. There are a lot of comedy sequences and it is fun being a part
of this,’ says Neetu and adds, ‘The shooting culture is very different here and
it's been a great learning experience so far.’
