Vineeth Sreenivasan, the young multi talented
actor of Mollywood, says that Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is the biggest
inspiration for him to be a film maker.
Vineeth revealed his great admiration for Aamir
Khan and his popular movie “Dil Chahta Hai”, in a recent interview. The
actor-director, who has earlier proved his skills in playback singing says that
Dil Chahta Hai is one of his all time favourite movies and Aamir Khan is one of
his most favourite actors.
Vineeth states that his admiration for Aamir Khan
began after watching the classic movie “Lagaan”. He recalled that he watched “Dil
Chahta Hai” only because of Aamir Khan, but the movie inspired him a lot and
after watching the movie, he decided to pursue a career in film direction.

Vineeth
points out that movies like “Dil Chahta Hai”, which showed a realistic tone in
all aspects, is a very rare in a commercial platform like Bollywood. He says
that he just loved the sink-sound technology used in the movie and got
impressed with the music score of the movie.
Vineeth states that “Dil
Chahta Hai” inspired him as a person also, unlike his other personal favourite
movies. Vineeth Sreenivasan made his directorial debut with ‘Malarvadi Arts
Club’.

His second directorial venture ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ was a huge
critical and commercial success. He earned rave reviews for his third movie ‘Thira’,
which was a completely new experience for the Malayali audience. Vineeth is
currently scripting for the sequel of ‘Thira’, which will have a popular young
actor of Mollywood in lead role, along with Shobana, who will reprise her role
from the first part.
